The Olinda Chapel Fund has supported various initiatives such as feeding schemes for homeless children in Harare, HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns, donations of clothing, food and blankets to Harare Children’s Home, school fees sponsorship programs, wheelchair donation campaigns, among others. Her dedication to giving back to the community has had a significant impact
on many lives.

Olinda recently extended her philanthropic efforts to South Africa by becoming one of the official sponsors for The Collen Mashawana Foundation golf and dinner event held in April 2024.
Business Profile
In 2013, she founded Gain Group of Companies, a conglomerate with diverse business interests across various industries. Under her leadership, the company has flourished and solidified its position as a key player in the business landscape. Gain Group includes Gain Healthcare, Gain Business Support, Gain Logistics, and Gain Social Housing, offering employment to more than 200 employees with offices based in the UK, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Registered with the Institute of Directors in both the UK and Zimbabwe, Olinda recently expanded her business operations to South Africa.
Qualifications
In addition to her successful business ventures and philanthropic endeavours, Olinda holds an LLB degree which was conferred to her in October 2023 from The Open University, she is also currently completing her LLM. Being the Director of Gain Group of Companies she also serves as the CQC Nominated Individual for Gain Healthcare. With a Level 5 qualification in care provision, she oversees the company’s services for individuals with complex needs .
Recognition
She has been invited to speak at various platforms worldwide in functions including The Female Founders Initiative Middle East and Africa due to her business acumen and philanthropic works. She has also earned recognition with organisations including as The Women of Wisdom where she was honoured for her work uplifting women and children in 2019, Zim Achievers awards where she was honoured with an award as the UK female personality for the 2019 in recognition of her charity works, Community Champion award which was conferred to her in 2021.
